Secondary Intracerebral Hemorrhage Score Calculator
The sICH Score estimates the likelihood of an underlying vascular etiology in adult patients with nontraumatic intracerebral hemorrhage.
High probability: enlarged vessels/calcifications along ICH margins, or
hyperattenuation in a dural venous sinus/cortical vein along presumed venous drainage.
Low probability: none of these findings and ICH in basal ganglia, thalamus, or brainstem.
Otherwise, classify as indeterminate.
Impaired coagulation: admission INR >3, aPTT >80 seconds,
platelet count <50,000, or daily antiplatelet therapy.
