Binet Staging System for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)

Stages CLL using involved lymphoid areas, anemia, and thrombocytopenia.

Involved lymphoid areas

Select each involved area. Cervical, axillary, inguinal, spleen, and liver each count as one area.

Anemia

Hemoglobin below 10 g/dL.

Thrombocytopenia

Platelet count below 100,000/mm³.
