SEDAN Score Calculator
Predicts risk of symptomatic intracerebral/intracranial hemorrhage after IV tPA for acute ischemic stroke.
Clinical note: This calculator is for educational and clinical support use only.
It should not replace neurologist/stroke-team judgment, local protocols, or formal contraindication review.
SEDAN was designed for patients treated with IV thrombolysis and is not intended as a stand-alone decision rule.
Examples: hypoattenuation, obscuration of lentiform nucleus or Sylvian fissure, loss of basal ganglia outline/insular ribbon, or sulcal effacement.
