Estimates risk of in-hospital mortality in patients with acute upper GI bleeding.

Scores +1 if albumin is < 3.0 g/dL.
Scores +1 if INR is > 1.5.
Scores +1 if altered mental status is present.
Scores +1 if systolic BP is ≤ 90 mmHg.
Scores +1 if age is > 65 years.
AIMS65 Score:
Clinical note: This calculator is for educational and clinical decision-support use only. Upper GI bleeding can be an emergency. Initial management should focus on assessment, resuscitation, and appropriate escalation of care.
