Sodium Correction for Hyperglycemia
Calculates corrected serum sodium in patients with hyperglycemia.
Formula:
Corrected Na⁺ = Measured Na⁺ + Correction Factor × [(Glucose mg/dL − 100) / 100]
If glucose is entered in mmol/L, it is converted to mg/dL by multiplying by 18.
