Spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is a severe form of stroke with high early mortality and major risk of long-term disability. Clinicians need a fast way to estimate prognosis soon after presentation. The ICH Score, developed by Hemphill et al. (2001), is one of the most validated bedside tools for this purpose. It predicts 30-day mortality using straightforward clinical and CT variables available on admission.
