1. Is the patient’s age > 70 years?

2. Preoperative Hemoglobin (g/L):

Is the patient female?

3. Does the patient have Creatinine Clearance < 60 mL/min or is on dialysis?

4. Is this an urgent or emergency surgery?

5. Has the patient had previous cardiac surgery?

6. Is this a combined CABG and Valve surgery?

7. Has the patient been on antiplatelet/anticoagulant therapy within 5 days pre-op?
